AKTU B.Tech Entrance Exam: The university has made it clear in an official written announcement that from the academic year, the university will only accept JEE Mains to provide B.Tech admissions, which means gaining admission for the B.Tech course at AKTU and other colleges in UP state, applicants must apply through NTA’s JEE Main Entrance Examination.

However, admission to other courses such as B.Des./B.Pharm./BHMCT/BFAD/BFA/B.Voc./ will be done via UPCET. For the record, the full form of UPCET is the Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test. As the name suggests, this is a statewide entrance exam held to offer admissions to various UG and PG courses offered by AKTU and its affiliated colleges.
